Description
Canton Drop Forge, a leading producer of large, closed die forgings in Canton, Ohio, is seeking an Ohio-Licensed High-Pressure Boiler Operator to join our team within our Powerhouse. Projected hourly rate is up to $33/hour.
Essential Departmental Duties and Responsibilities:
The operation, inspection, and maintenance of stationary engines and mechanical equipment to provide utilities for buildings and industrial processes.
Read meters and gauges at specified intervals to verify operating conditions.
Record and analyze data and operations.
Adjust and maintain equipment controls within necessary guidelines
Perform water titration tests and pour additives
Communicate with Production for Steam and Boiler levels.
Job Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, and move around the Powerhouse for extended periods.
Ability to climb stairs and ladders throughout shift.
Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 75 pounds.
Ability to bend, twist, stoop, kneel and crawl.
Ability to wear respirator as needed.

Minimum Requirements:
Ohio High-Pressure Boiler Operator licensure.
Must be able to work any shift as assigned within unionized role.
Able and willing to work overtime as required.
